The second community consultation, led by Manchester Histories and in partnership with People’s History Museum, will take place on Wednesday 14 January 2015 in Manchester. The meeting is to help to develop partnerships, ideas and plans leading up to the 200 years commemoration of the Peterloo Massacre.
Everyone is welcome whether you are an interested individual, a local history organisation, a committed Peterloo campaigner or a teacher planning something for your school. We want to share and hear as many opinions as possible. It is essential that this is a democractiv process and all people’s voices are heard.
Robert Poole, academic on Peterloo, will also be talking at this meeting about the Peterloo resources that are available to help plan projects in libraries, archives and museums across the country. There will also be chance for general networking at the start of the meeting too.
All welcome but please register for the meeting here.
