WEA course ‘People make their own History’

This is a ten week course of study starting from January 2015, delivered by the Workers’ Educational Association (WEA) in association with the People’s History Museum.  It will look at seven key demonstrations that shaped our social and political landscape.  From Peterloo and the Chartists, the struggles over jobs, against Fascism, for access to the countryside in the 1930s, fighting Section 28 and for LGBT rights in the 1980s, to Stop the War and against the Bedroom Tax today.  For further details please see click here or contact northwest@wea.org.uk
